What is the best yarn for a crochet bag

Sturdy, non-stretching fibers like mercerized cotton, linen, or t-shirt yarn perform best. Avoid pure acrylics or wools, as they stretch significantly and pill under the weight of your daily essentials.

How do you line a homemade tote

Cut two pieces of canvas fabric slightly smaller than your finished piece and sew the sides together. Pin the fabric pouch inside your work and hand-stitch the lining directly to the inside rim using invisible stitches.

Why does my strap keep stretching out

Yarn stretches naturally due to gravity and heavy cargo. Fix this by working your strap stitches lengthwise instead of horizontally, or sew a strip of non-stretch grosgrain ribbon to the underside for permanent structural support.
