    5. Finish and Attach

This final step prepares your flower for decorating another project.

Weave in every loose yarn tail with the yarn needle.

Lightly shape each petal using your fingers.

Steam block gently if desired, avoiding direct contact with the yarn.

Sew the flower onto a blanket, bag, hat, headband, or pillow using matching yarn.

Alternatively, glue the flower onto gift packaging or attach a brooch pin for a removable accessory.

Pro Tip: Make several flowers in different colors to create beautiful bouquets or garlands using the same pattern.

    Final Thoughts

I hope you enjoyed making this sweet layered daisy as much as I enjoy sharing it! One of the things I love most about crochet flower patterns is how versatile they are—you can stitch up a whole garden of colorful blooms in an afternoon and use them on almost any handmade project. Don’t worry if your first flower isn’t absolutely perfect; every new one gets a little neater and faster. I’d love to see your finished flower, so be sure to share your creation and tag the blog so we can celebrate your beautiful handmade work together!

    FAQ

What can I use these crochet flower patterns for?

These flowers are perfect for decorating blankets, hats, scarves, tote bags, pillows, wreaths, bookmarks, gift wrap, and handmade cards.

How do I make the flower larger?

Use thicker yarn with a larger crochet hook or add another layer of larger petals behind the first two rounds.

    Why are my petals curling?

Petals usually curl because your tension is tight or your stitches are crowded. Try relaxing your tension slightly and block the finished flower to help it lay flat.
